Assessing Effects of Nanoparticles that Cause Toxicity in Aquatic Systems

Wang Aker

In this document, we conducted a comprehensive examination of a few fundamental physicochemical characteristics of engineered nanomaterials (ENMs) and how they affected how ENMs interacted with their immediate environment in typical aquatic habitats. It is elaborated on how ENMs behave in relation to dynamic microenvironments at the nanoebioeco interface level and how this affects their toxicity, destiny, and exposure potential. Based on our evaluation of the literature, we draw the conclusion that a comprehensive strategy is urgently required to close the information gap we have about the safety of discharged ENMs. This comparative method enables the recognition and comprehension of the possible risks posed by ENMs and their toxicity processes, leading to the establishment of a quantitative and trustworthy system to forecast such consequences
