Advances in Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety is a peerreviewed open-access journal published monthly that focuses on studies pertaining to rare adverse drug reactions, drug efficacy evaluations, drug interaction quantifications, patterns of drug usage, herbal medicines, randomised control trials, case-control studies, cross-sectional studies, case cross overstudies, and cohort studies. The journal also serves as a repository of information in pharmacoepidemiology and drug safety that physicians, surgeons, medical scientists, public health professionals, medical students, clinicians, lab researchers, academicians, and industry can use to retain them informed and to develop future research programmes. The journal publishes reports on a variety of topics, including new challenges of excessive drug use, insufficient drug use, and inappropriate drug use, pharmacoepidemiology, advances in molecular biology techniques, and identification of genetic determinants of drug effects. The journal welcomes all original research articles, review articles, commentaries, and letters to the editor that focus on pharmacology-related exposures or health outcomes.
