The study presents the results of the comparative evaluation of preventive treatment of the udder with probiotic agents and agents of chemical origin. The obtained data showed the improvement of milk quality and reduction of the number of somatic cells in milk, when using probiotic agents as a means of disinfection of cows' udders. The study was conducted on dairy farms of the Almaty region, Republic of Kazakhstan.
